Il commence la pratique des arts martiaux (Shorinjiryu Kenkokan) en 1994 à l’age de 6 ans avec Shihan Luc Gilbert.
Il reçoit son Shodan en 2005 de Hanshi Philippe Nadeau, Shihan Robin Campbell et Shihan Mario Venne.
En 2007, il prend charge du dojo San Iku Kai de Mirabel jusqu’en 2015 assisté de Sensei Normand Labelle et Sensei Louis Philippe Maltais.
Il laisse ensuite la responsabilité du dojo à sensei Philippe Mercier pour des raisons de conflit d’horaire de travail.
Médaillé dans plusieurs tournois régionaux, provinciaux et nationaux et participe également aux championnats du monde de WKKF en 2007 et 2014.
De 2014 à 2020, il assiste les dojos de Mirabel et Ste-Sophie en y enseignant régulièrement.
En 2020, Il devient directeur technique de l’association Canadienne et Pan américaine de Karatedo Koshiki(WKKF-Canada) et de Shorinjiryu Kenkokan Canada.
À présent, il supporte les dojos de l’association et assure le lien avec l’organisation mondiale au Japon.
Il détient le grade de 5e Dan en shorinjiryu kenkokan et 6e Dan en Karatédo Koshiki qui lui ont été remis en Mars 2024 par l’instructeur chef de l’organisation mondiale Hanshi Masamitsu Kudaka.

He began practicing martial arts (Shorinjiryu Kenkokan) in 1994 at the age of 6 with Shihan Luc Gilbert.
He received his Shodan in 2005 from Hanshi Philippe Nadeau, Shihan Robin Campbell, and Shihan Mario Venne.
In 2007, he took over the San Iku Kai dojo in Mirabel, which he led until 2015, assisted by Sensei Normand Labelle and Sensei Louis Philippe Maltais.
He later handed over responsibility for the dojo to Sensei Philippe Mercier due to scheduling conflicts with his professional work.
A medalist in several regional, provincial, and national tournaments, he also competed in the WKKF World Championships in 2007 and 2014.
From 2014 to 2020, he supported the dojos in Mirabel and Ste-Sophie by teaching there regularly.
In 2020, he became the Technical Director of the Canadian and Pan-American Koshiki Karatedo Association (WKKF-Canada) and of Shorinjiryu Kenkokan Canada.
He currently supports the dojos within the association and ensures the connection with the world organization in Japan.
He holds the rank of 5th Dan in Shorinjiryu Kenkokan and 6th Dan in Koshiki Karatedo, awarded to him in March 2024 by the Chief Instructor of the world organization, Hanshi Masamitsu Kudaka.
